1. Who we are and what this policy covers

Pastors AI, INC, a Delaware corporation ("Pastors AI," "we," "us," or "our"), operates Pastors.ai. We provide tools that turn sermons into clips, transcripts, summaries, study guides, devotionals, translations, and other ministry resources.

This policy describes how we handle personal information through our website, services, church chatbots, and connected applications, including our ChatGPT and Claude integrations using the Model Context Protocol (MCP).

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

We collect account details such as your name, email, church or organization, plan, and billing information; sermon links, manuscripts, notes, audio and video content; branding assets; and messages you send to support. Stripe processes subscription payments. Information about your subscription and payment status is used to manage access and billing.

Usage and device information

We collect information about use of the Service, including feature usage, browser and operating system, IP address, and device identifiers. Cookies, local storage, session storage, and related technologies support sign-in, preferences, and usage analysis. You can manage browser storage and cookies in your browser settings; blocking them may affect features.

Connected services and account authorization

When you connect an application, we process account identifiers, permissions, authorization records, and tokens needed to associate requests with your Pastors.ai account. Sign-in uses an emailed link. OAuth allows a connected application to access authorized features without receiving your Pastors.ai sign-in link as an account password.

If you connect Google or YouTube, we may receive the profile and channel information you authorize. For sermon links, we access relevant video information and content to provide the requested resources.

Information received through ChatGPT and Claude

When you use a connected application, Pastors AI receives the information included in the requests that application sends to our tools. Depending on your request, this can include a YouTube URL, sermon or clip identifier, requested resource sections, result limits, and authorization information.

Connecting an application does not by itself give Pastors AI access to all of your conversations on that platform. The information we receive depends on what the application sends when invoking our tools and your authorized requests.

Sermons and requests may reveal religious beliefs or other sensitive information. Submit only content you are authorized to share and consider whether it contains private counseling, health, financial, or other personal details.

3. How we use information

We use information to authenticate users and connected applications; process sermons and generate requested resources; return results and account information; apply plan and usage limits; manage subscriptions; email processing results and service notices; respond to support requests; maintain and improve the Service; prevent abuse; and meet legal obligations.

4. Information returned to connected applications

In response to an authorized tool request, we may return:

• Account email, church, plan, and usage allowances.
• Recent sermon titles, identifiers, processing status, and clip availability.
• Clips, quotes, captions, images, durations, playback URLs, and download links.
• Summaries, discussion guides, devotionals, quotes, and other requested resources.
• Dashboard, settings, editing, and public sharing links.

The connected platform receives the returned information so it can respond to you or display resources. Its handling of that information, including conversation retention and any model-training settings, is governed by its own policies and your settings there. This policy describes Pastors AI's practices, not those independent platforms' practices.

5. Google and YouTube information

The Service uses YouTube API Services. Google's privacy practices are explained at https://policies.google.com/privacy and YouTube's terms at https://www.youtube.com/t/terms.

We request access needed for the features you authorize. Information received through Google APIs is subject to Google's applicable user-data policies, including Limited Use requirements. Its use and disclosure must remain within those requirements. Our general service-improvement language does not authorize uses prohibited by those requirements.

We do not permanently retain complete source YouTube videos. Source audio and video used for processing are deleted within 24 hours. Transcripts, generated resources, and clips are distinct from source media and are retained as account content, subject to the retention section below. You can request deletion or use available account deletion controls.

6. When we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share information with providers that help us operate the Service, including AI-processing, hosting, storage, email, and payment providers, as needed for their work on our behalf.

We also share information with connected applications as described above, and with recipients or audiences you choose when you share resources or enable public pages or chatbots. A public sermon page or shared link can make its content available beyond your account.

We may disclose information to meet legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, protect rights and safety, and investigate fraud or abuse. Information may be transferred in a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets, subject to applicable safeguards.

7. Retention

We retain information for service delivery and legitimate business and legal purposes:

Disconnecting an integration revokes that connection's access; it does not automatically delete your Pastors.ai account or content. Copies already returned to another platform are subject to that platform's controls and retention practices. Canceling billing, disconnecting an application, and deleting an account are separate actions.

8. Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards to protect information, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, security assessments, and staff training. No transmission or storage system is completely secure. Protect your email account and do not share sign-in links or authorization tokens.

9. Your choices and requests

You can use available account controls to update account details, download resources, and delete content. Contact privacy@pastors.ai to request access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal information. We may verify identity before completing a request. Additional rights may apply under the laws where you live.

Manage marketing preferences through available communication controls or contact us. Necessary account, processing, security, and billing messages may still be sent.

To revoke a connected application's access, open Settings → Connected apps in Pastors.ai. You can also manage the connection in ChatGPT or Claude. To revoke Google access, visit https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revocation does not itself delete information previously collected; request deletion separately where needed.

10. International processing

Information may be processed outside your country of residence. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, which may include applicable contractual safeguards, recognized adequacy mechanisms, or consent where legally appropriate.

11. Children

Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their personal information. Contact us if you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information so we can investigate and delete it as appropriate. Creating an account or buying a subscription is subject to the eligibility requirements in our Terms of Service.

12. Changes to this policy

We will post changes here with an updated effective date. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or through the Service, as appropriate and required by law. Where a change requires additional consent, we will request it. Continued use does not replace consent required by law.
